AlexisWaksmunski, Senior at Juniata College, Graduated May 16

Three hundred and seventy-two seniors were awarded Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts degrees on Saturday, May 17, during ceremonies marking Juniata College's 137th Commencement.

Among the graduates is the following local student:

Alexis Ann Waksmunski of Northern Cambria, daughter of Lawrence and Diane Waksmunski, received a B.A. degree in politics with a secondary emphasis in peace and conflict studies . While at Juniata, she interned with Voice of America as part of the Washington Center's Academic Seminar Series, interned with Senator Robert P. Casey Jr., and studied abroad in both Northern Ireland and China. Waksmunski is a 2011 graduate of Northern Cambria High School.
