AndreaWaksmunski, Senior at Juniata College, Graduated May 16

Three hundred and seventy-two seniors were awarded Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts degrees on Saturday, May 17, during ceremonies marking Juniata College's 137th Commencement.

Among the graduates is the following local student:

Andrea Rose Waksmunski of Northern Cambria, daughter of Lawrence and Diane Waksmunski, received a B.S. degree in biochemistry. While at Juniata, she conducted research through the Amgen Scholars Program at the University of California in San Diego, Calif., received the Donald M. Rockwell Endowed Chemistry Scholarship, and was inducted into the Tri-Beta biology honor society. Waksmunski is a 2011 graduate of Northern Cambria High School.
