Asia Barron, Senior at Juniata College, Graduated May 17

Three hundred and seventy-two seniors were awarded Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts degrees on Saturday, May 17, during ceremonies marking Juniata College's 136th Commencement.

Among the graduates is the following local student:

Asia Alexandria Barron of Brockway, daughter of Mark Barron and Brenda S. Gorham, received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and philosophy. While at Juniata, she was named president of Sigma Tau Delta (International English Honor Society), co-director of literary hour on WKVR radio and was elected and inducted into Omicron DeltaKappa (international leadership honor society). Barron is a 2009 graduate of Brockway Area High School.
