HeatherWaring, Senior at Juniata College, Graduated May 16

Three hundred and seventy-two seniors were awarded Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts degrees on Saturday, May 17, during ceremonies marking Juniata College's 137th Commencement.

Among the graduates is the following local student:

Heather Leigh Waring of San Antonio, daughter of Babul Mukherjee and Katrina Waring, received a B.S. degree in biology with a secondary emphasis in religious studies. While at Juniata, she was named to the dean's list for four years, was the president of Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA), and was named to the all-conference first team doubles in tennis. Waring is a 2011 graduate of John Jay High School.
