Jamie Jaber, Senior at Juniata College, Graduated May 17

Three hundred and seventy-two seniors were awarded Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts degrees on Saturday, May 17, during ceremonies marking Juniata College's 136th Commencement.

Among the graduates is the following local student:

Jamie Lyn Jaber of Johnstown, daughter of Edward Jaber and Sharon Jaber, received a Bachelor of Science degree in preK-4 certification. While at Juniata, she was selected and inducted into the National Leadership Honor Society - Omicron Delta Kappa, the Educational Honor Society - Pi Lambda Theta, and the National Society of Leadership and Success. She served as the Treasurer for Juniata Instructors of the Future, and was a member, choreographer and officer for the Juniata Dance Ensemble. Jaber is a 2011 graduate of Richland High School.
