Samantha Harrison, Senior at Juniata College, Graduated May 17

Three hundred and seventy-two seniors were awarded Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts degrees on Saturday, May 17, during ceremonies marking Juniata College's 136th Commencement.

Among the graduates is the following local student:

Samantha Elise Harrison of Northfield, daughter of Andrew S. Harrison and Catharine V. Hawkins-Harrison, received a Bachelor of Science degree in preK-4 and special education. While at Juniata, she was president and captain of the women's rugby team, performed in the Juniata Concert Band and completed her student teaching. Harrison is a 2010 graduate of Pioneer Valley Regional School.
